To the Left, to the Left

Chapter Three

Location: Ireland

I’m no Beyonce’ but I spend a good part of my day saying “to the left, to the left”, as we drive the winding roads of Ireland.

When we are at home I am typically in the driver seat, but here in Ireland we decided my husband would drive because he has a lot  more experience driving on the “wrong” side of the road – or as any local will tell you – the “correct” side of the road.

So while my husband drives it is my job to image constantly remind him, most importantly when in any intersection, roundabout  or merge, “to the left, to the left”.  I’ve lost track how many times I have said it.

It’s a bit nerve wracking on the oh so narrow city streets and winding country lanes.

So as the days have gone on I have put the lyrics to music, bopping and a singing down the road, and imagealways staying to the left.

Beyonce’ aint got nothing on me.
